21st Decemeber 2020

St Agnes AFC u15's finished 2020 with a great challenging home fixture v Hayle played at Truro College astro-pitch.

Both teams played some lovely football with the score 1-1 at half time. The St Agnes boys took the win capitalising on a penalty when Tommy A was brought down in the area - the final score 2-1.

Player of the match was Gilly with Most Improved Jouan showing some real battling guts and determination!

Such a great morning! Well done girls and thank you to all our coaches, inspiring young volunteers and of course our fabulous supportive parents! St Agnes AFC Dynamos will be back on the pitch in January - Merry Christmas everyone! Stay safe!

Women's FA Cup Results

7th September 2020

Such a positive afternoon at Enys Parc yesterday very well attended and supported by friends, family and the wider Ladies footballing community! Thank you everyone!

St Agnes AFC Ladies 1st team, rebuilding from 7 changes to last season's squad, featured 4 x 16 year olds and worked hard against the experienced, strong, physical visitors. 0-0 at half time after some resolute defending, solid goalkeeping and overall good team effort!

The second half looked much the same and penalties were looming until 10 min from the final whistle when Saltash scored from a goalmouth scramble.

St Agnes AFC Ladies 0 v Saltash Ladies 1

We wish Saltash Ladies good luck in the next round!

Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising from raffle and donations which raised just under £780 to support our team member Jodie Hood whose unborn baby has been diagnosed with a rare, severe congenital heart defect and will require trips to Bristol Hospital.

Thank you everyone including visiting clubs, players and match officials who supported in every way - football can be such a positive force for good!

St Agnes AFC Ladies are back to training on Wednesday with our 1st team in SWRWFL action next Sunday at home v Plympton

Bolster Veterans Charity Fixture

24th August 2020

Such a positive day at Enys Parc on Sunday as St Agnes AFC Bolster Veterans hosted Kernow Wanderers in a charity friendly fixture. So many players wanted to take part we needed to use a second set of shirts!

The Bolsters host at least one charity fixture every season but its been very difficult to organise things around the covid crisis this year so they were super pleased to be able to get back on the pitch!

A great fun and entertaining fixture won 4-3 by the home team.

The biggest triumph of the day was the £300 raised by donations which will go to Tiny Tickers Charity helping improve the early detection and care of babies with serious heart conditions. Well done everyone who took part in a fabulous fixture and achievement in the current situation!

St Agnes AFC 1st v Ludgvan 1st Pre-Season Friendly

15th August 2020

A respectful minutes silence at Enys Parc, St Agnes marking the 75th Anniversary of VJ Day preceded a lively friendly between St Agnes AFC 1st team and newly restructured Ludgvan FC. St Agnes edged it 1-0 through Brandon Light cutting in from the left hand side and striking it with his right foot into the top corner. A great pre-season workout for both sides behind closed doors.

St Agnes AFC are getting pitch perfect!

9th July 2020

Everyone at St Agnes AFC is very grateful to the Government's Football Foundation, The FA and The Premier League for awarding us a £5000 grant from the Pitch Preparation Fund.

The fund was set up to support grassroots football clubs facing unprecedented challenges owing to the COVID-19 crisis and loss of normal income streams because of it.

The grant will help support ongoing pitch works and maintenance at Enys Parc and Chiverton Park to ensure they look the best they can for when its safe for football to return.
