Everyone at St Agnes AFC is so very, very proud of all the members of St Agnes AFC Dynamos Girls u11s and u9s who took part in the Cancer Research Pretty Muddy Race for Life yesterday! What an uplifting, inspiring group of players, coaches and parents who really have 'Made a Difference' by taking part with their fundraising total standing at over £2115!!!!
The group had a really wonderful time together!

St Agnes AFC Dynamos Girls u15s Whites and Silvers faced each other at the weekend in CGFL action!
A really entertaining fixture showing how far both teams and players have progressed. An amazing achievement from players, coaches and their parents/support crew to field two teams at any age group thank you and well done everyone!
The majority of these players have been with the squad throughout all their girls football and to see how far they have all grown in confidence and watch them winning their individual battles on the pitch was fabulous!

A super well contested end to end fixture between Mount Hawke Academy and Bishop Cornish School, Saltash.
Well done to both teams on such an exciting Final taking the fixture into extra time!
Congratulation to Mount Hawke Academy wining the first ever County Primary Schools Final for the 9 v 9 game.

St Agnes AFC Ladies were back at training tonight - awesome numbers and work rate from everyone!
Coach Martyn K was not able to attend our last CWFL fixture as his boys team had a game he needed to attend so he missed out on Div 2 Cup celebrations. After 20 Seasons coaching St Agnes AFC Ladies we all thought it important to take the cup along and get him in a photo with it!!😍😍

To have one girls u13 girls team reach a County Cup semi-final is an achievement to have two is a proper impressive accolade to the players and their coaches!
Well done both our St Agnes AFC Dynamos Girls u13s teams who were drawn to play against each other Whites v Silvers.
Here's their coach's sum up of the day!
"Great day for St Agnes u13 girls yesterday with both teams competing in the semi final of the county cup. Unfortunately the teams were drawn against one another and there can only be one team that progresses.
As coaches it was amazing to see the progression the girls have made!
I was really proud to see all the players compete and stand up to their individual challenges and work as a team.
There were some great goals! Some really good build play and high levels of work rate.
This time the Whites progress to the final on the 20th at Hayle against St Day."

St Agnes AFC Ladies 20th Season draws to a close today facing Ludgvan Ladies away playing in CWFL Div 2 at Rosudgeon.

Today we will be remembering Sylvia who was there at the start 20 years ago training in St Agnes School field and up Goonown Playing Field! We really weren't very good!! Lost our first game 23-0! We were proud then and Sylvia would be very proud of everyone and everything we have all achieved together over the last 20 Seasons!

St Agnes AFC Dynamos Girls u11s are delighted to have been awarded a grant from the Barclays Community Football Fund, being delivered in partnership with Sported.
This grant will help support our amazing u11s girls and their coaches develop and play their game!
The Barclays Community Football Fund offers grants, training and support resources to help reduce inequalities in the participation of football. The fund supports local organisations (like ours) supporting young people from under-represented groups to start or keep playing!
Sported is the largest network of community sports groups in the UK, supporting almost 3,000 groups helping young people facing disadvantage to build confidence, gain skills and get their lives on track.

St Agnes AFC Ladies travelled to Callington today in CWFL action where the scoreline was opened by the hardworking home team in the first few minutes of the match.
St Agnes battled back and drew level through Jordana P scoring the team's 100th CWFL goal of the season - she then went on to complete her hat-trick bringing her own league goal tally to 40.
Callington didn't stop working until the final whistle with their 'keeper pulling off some good saves!
Maid of the Match was Meila F for another solid performance and Moose was Amber V for somehow managing to kick her own team player in the face!
'Save of the Day' was pulled off by Lottie BC in the St Agnes sticks tipping a high and hard shot over the crossbar - awesome work Lottie!
Thank you to Callington for their hospitality and good luck for the remainder of the season.

Thank you to these Referee superstars Paul, Steve & Ken (and young Referee Jayden) who supported youth fixtures at Enys Parc on Good Friday! Without referees like these who go the extra mile to 'help make football happen' week in and out there would be no football to look forward to. It was great to see so many youth players boys and girls showing total Respect for all the Referees!

Cornwall FA Girls Emerging Talent Centre and Advanced Development Centre

Enys Parc home of St Agnes AFC was a hive of football activity on Good Friday as we hosted 5 teams from the Cornwall FA Girls Emerging Talent Centre and Advanced Development Centre.
It was a fabulous day watching talented girls from across the county play some super football as part of the FA's female talent Lioness pathway - especially as girls from St Agnes AFC Dynamos featured in all the County teams!
Well done to all our St Agnes teams and players who took part and thank you to our fabulous volunteer coaches who were happy to help make it happen!

Whilst our Ladies didn't have a game in the end today our St Agnes AFC Dynamos Girls u11s Bolsters & Giants were busy making everyone uber proud!
Well done to both squads showing massive development scoring goals and starting to play some lovely football!!!
Well done to Coach Jasmine working so hard to build a squad of some 40 players of mixed ability and experience. Thank you to all the parents starting to complete qualifications and being so supportive!!!

St Agnes AFC 1st Team hosted Porthleven FC today at Enys Parc. A challenging season for St Agnes AFC Men's but a positive 4-2win today. Goals from Curtis Pay 2, Rio Watson and Harvey Andrew secured 3 points and a 3rd win on the bounce. We even managed our first team photo of the season!

St Agnes AFC Ladies had a fixture free weekend this week - with several games postponed and three abandoned owing to the Sunday afternoon weather it probably wasn't a bad thing!!!!
Our u15s St Agnes AFC Dynamos Girls Whites & Silvers were busy making everyone proud though showing commitment and putting all their hard work at training into practise! Well done girls!

St Agnes AFC Ladies Remember Sylvia Chapman

As the daffodils start to bud and flower around the banks at Enys Parc with Spring not far away it's a perfect time for everyone at St Agnes AFC to remember Sylvia Chapman.
Sylvia was a joint founder member of St Agnes AFC Ladies 20 years ago as well as playing in a few games, fundraising, line running, committee member, tea maker, supporter and so much more!
The daffodils were planted as a living memory to her contribution by ladies players, family and friends!
There are a few spaces now following ground works and badgers etc so we are going to sort another planting at the end of this our 20th season!
She would be super proud of the fact we are still going and especially of the progression across our girls moving into the adult ladies game! Well done and thank you everyone who has been part of our journey over the last 20years! X

The girls were thrilled to receive a certificate from The Bristol Children's Hospital Wallace & Gromit Grand Appeal thanking them for raising and donating £214 to help support the treatment and care of seriously ill children. Well done everyone!
Members of all our St Agnes AFC Dynamos Girls age groups also did a collection pre-Christmas and donated 4 x huge bags of items to the Truro Foodbank with a cash donation and 2 x bags to our St Agnes Community Shelf at St Agnes Church. Football can be such a positive force for good and so much more than just football!

Here come the St Agnes AFC Dynamos Girls u9s!
As well as fielding girls teams at u18s, 2 x u15's, 2 x u13's, Wildcats and 2 x u11s (with enough for 3 teams) our fabulous u9s yesterday hosted 4 other wonderful teams in a cluster event at Truro College! An impeccable minute silence and some awesome football followed. We are all so very proud of our female set up, its growth and development - from adults all the way down to 5 year olds! With our newly launched St Agnes AFC Ladies Reserves team we are currently providing football for around 180 females which is massively impressive for a little club on a cliff in a little village - thank you everyone for being part of it - especially the wonderful volunteer coaches, helpers, sponsors and everyone making it happen!

St Agnes AFC Ladies hosted Dropship Ladies at Enys Parc today where the scoreline doesn't reflect our guests' never give up attitude! The game opened brightly with blustery winds and then a stunning rainbow over Enys Parc preceding the damp wet Cornish mizzle which descended by the final whistle!
A clean sheet for our 16 year old 'keeper Lottie BC with a hat-trick for Jordana P and one each for Amber V and Zoe AL secured 3 points for the home team.
Maid of the Match today was Emily E for a solid return to the pitch in League action today and Moose went to our mid-field trooper Molly H for her 360 pirouette!
Next week St Agnes AFC Ladies are in County Cup action away v higher placed Division 1 Bude Ladies - a game that is sure to be a big challenge for our Division 2 side.

Following training tonight members of St Agnes AFC Ladies were pleased to again host Cornwall Fire and Rescue Ladies team in a 5v5 training session. We wish them lots of luck as they head off to Manchester next week to compete in the first National Female Fire Service Tournament! With 14 teams entered and a waiting list it's exciting to wish our Cornish Ladies safe travels and good luck - we can't wait to hear how they get on!!

There was end to end football, excitement, goals, saves, tackles and everything anyone could wish or hope for in a first ever mini-fixture well done everyone!!!!! Fabulous!

Enys Parc, St Agnes fell silent today as St Agnes AFC 1st Team held a minute reflection remembering Colin Butson who passed away this week. Colin was a very long standing club supporter, committee member, treasurer and so much more!
Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

Here come the St Agnes AFC Dynamos Girls u9's!!!!! Over the last 12 months we have, when the playing oppportunity could be created, fielded an u8's girls going up to u9's team this season!
Yesterday we held our first specific u9's girls training session - just look at them!
Thank you to Coach Tim for stepping up to help support the u9's on their journey! Exciting! As with all our age group extra help will be needed so anyone interested in looking to get involved with coaching please shout!
Coaching/managing is HUGE fun and massively rewarding and so very important!
A big thank you to Coach Jasmine who has kept these girls entertained and engaged in football via our St Agnes AFC Weetabix Wildcats too!

St Agnes AFC Dynamos Girls u15's Whites & Silvers were back in CGFL action at the weekend with the Silvers entertaining Helston and Whites away v Redruth.

St Agnes AFC Dynamos Girls Under 11s were out en masse at training on Saturday - 27 of them put in a fabulous shift - awesome work everyone especially their young volunteer Coach Jasmine who is such a positive role model to all of them!
Sunday saw our first weekend of sending 2 x under 11's Girls Teams our our Giants & Bolsters headed off for fixtures at Hayle & Illogan
We are all super proud of all of them! Not everyone was available to play on Sunday and one set of shirts were a bit on the big side but it didn't seem to deter those smiley faces!
It's going to be super exciting to see these girls on their footballing future! Thank you everyone supporting them!

St Agnes AFC u10's Surfers got their KYFL 22/23 Season underway at the weekend and headed off to East Wheal Rose for a great game of football. End to End action, plenty of smiles and exciting goals at both ends! Well done everyone and thank you to all our coaches in the u10's age group Dan, Mike and Richard splitting a large squad into two teams so more players get to play!

St Agnes AFC Ladies 18s v Helston

St Agnes AFC u18's Girls hosted Helston u18's Girls in an 11aside friendly fixture this evening. A splendid turn out from the St Agnes squad with 18 available and commited to playing (one missed the photo). Both teams observed a respectful minute silence in memory of the passing of our Queen Elizabeth II.
An exciting 11 aside fixture was enjoyed by all of the players on the pitch and everyone watching! Some talented impressive football was played from both teams with top home goals from Lauren 3, Gracie 2, Lila and Megan.
The game closed to a stunning sunset across the St Agnes coast!
Thank you to Helston for tonight's fixture and to all the volunteer coaches who helped make sure the girls were able to play tonight.

From the FA: ADDRESSING BEHAVIOURS IN THE GRASSROOTS GAME AHEAD OF THE NEW SEASON IN ENGLAND
Football has a unique power to deliver amazing benefits to individuals and communities.
Not only does it keep us physically and mentally healthy, but it also builds long-lasting friendships, teaches leadership and resilience and inspires the nation. However, for all the good that football can bring, sadly last season, at all levels of the game, there were too many examples of unacceptable behaviours that had the opposite impact. At the grassroots level, these included swearing, aggressive shouting and persistent arguing among spectators, players and officials.
It is only a small minority of people that act in this way, but these individuals can spoil the game for everyone, causing children and young people to not want to play, referees and volunteers to drop out and spectators to stop supporting their team.
We all have a responsibility in setting the right standard of behaviours in the game. We need everyone to play their part so that we can make this season a brilliant one for all. As we look forward to a new season of grassroots football up and down the country, we are promoting a series of social media assets under the message ‘Enough is Enough’, making it clear that action will be taken against those who ruin the game for others.

St Agnes AFC Ladies Welcome Fire Service Ladies

St Agnes AFC Ladies have really enjoyed welcoming members of the new Fire Service Cornwall Ladies football team to our training sessions as part of pre-season! The Fire Service Ladies are in training for a small sided Tournament in October and we know, based on their input at training, they are going to do super well! Some of our new squad members stepping up at 16 from our St Agnes AFC Dynamos Girls u16's have really enjoyed the experience too! We all look forward to seeing the Fire Ladies again in a few weeks time!

St Agnes AFC 1st Team Welcome Rio Watson

St Agnes AFC 1st Team season has started with some pre-season squad changes and we welcomed 16 year old Rio Watson joining us from Wendron Youth.
With his first Kernow Stone St Piran League start on Saturday v Penryn Rio scored his first goal at Enys Parc too!
Watching was his uncle Justin Andrew a former long term St Agnes Player and top goal scorer - 52 goals in 2003/04! What an achievement!

And we are OFF!! Our 3rd and final Summer Holiday Coaching Day is underway! 70 amazing children booked on with 7 equally amazing volunteer coaches in charge! The Bouncy Castle is ready and the water fight to close the day is planned! Its fabulous to so many of our young coaches helping out - a special well done to Bridie & Molly creating a 'limbo' area in their 'Olympics' Session - if the children have as much fun playing it as you all did trying to put it together its going to be hysterical!
A HUGE thank you to all the coaches who have supported, created and run this years Summer Holiday events Charlotte, Marnie, Jas, Gracie, Ruby, Jessica, Molly, Bridie and of course our totally amazing lead and admin member Lisa!

St Agnes AFC Summer Sports Day 2

Well done to all the awesome boys and girls who attended our St Agnes AFC Holiday Sports Day 2 yesterday! 70 booked on! Oh my it was hot! As well as supplying loads of extra free squash we even stocked up on extra suncream! Activities included cricket, football, agility, frisbee throwing (how did that one end up on the roof?), volley ball and a letter hunt with some quiet indoor colouring for those needing to take a break! The water race challenge provided a welcome release from the heat with Coach Gracie getting bucket dunked at the end!
Thank you to all our amazing coaches for their hardwork yesterday in challenging heat - brilliant work all of you!
Well done to Team Malaysia who won the medals of the day on the cummulative points totals!

Congratulations to all of the amazing children who attended our first St Agnes AFC Summer Sports Day - almost 70 boys and girls booked on and they were all FABULOUS!
Tennis proved a popular session - all of the children enjoyed all of the different sports on offer!

Well done to our 10 medal winners across the day selected by the coaches for extra special reasons including participation, helpfulness, kindness and behaviour!

With the the Final of the Women's EUROs confirmed as between England V Germany on Sunday a big thank you to one of our Dynamos girls parents for reminding me we hosted our own female England v Germany fixture at Enys Parc in 2016! This was part of an FA & CCFA initiative to mark the 50th Anniversary of the 1966 World Cup win! There was a Ladies Match and u10's & 12's Girls games - we even had St Agnes Silver Band there who played both the German & English National Anthems! We raised £150 for the Bobby Moore Cancer Research Charity and received a £250 cheque from Cornwall FA for hosting the occasion! Happy & Proud memories to revisit and share!

Our St Agnes AFC Dis-ability Coach Hailey has been super busy over the last season working on an initiative taking photos on disposable cameras as part of the Goal Click and FA Scheme to showcase Disability Football in Cornwall!
Hailey has put a massive amount of time and effort into this project with some great photos and an inspiring article!

St Agnes AFC Walking Football team enjoyed the 2nd leg of the Age UK Cornwall Walking Football Pilot League! Goals, wins, draws it was all going on! We are all super proud of our Walking Football Squad who will be back to training at Enys Parc on the court area on Monday 18th July 6.30pm - 7.30pm £2. New players always welcome!

St Agnes AFC Ladies substituted training bibs for playing shirts today at our St Agnes AFC Ladies tournament - it was roasting and the bibs were marginally cooler! Such a positive day today at our St Agnes AFC Ladies Tournament!!!! It was super hot, hot, hot but lots of ladies players took part and enjoyed plenty of football! Thank you everyone who came along, supported, played, officiated and made today happen! A special appreciation to our volunteer referees Ken, Wayne, Steve and Paul who were all amazing - thank you all of you! Thank you also to our club volunteer Denzil for setting up pitches and supporting!
We had games, goals, draws, wins, penalties and also a 3 way penalty shoot out which was very unusual and super exciting!!!!
Well done to Plympton Ladies on winning today's event with Bodmin runners up - we will be donating half of today's proceeds to Cancer Research Uk. Thank you everyone for helping and making a difference!

St Agnes AFC u9's (21/22 Season) were out in force and had a great time last night getting together for a fun training session followed by their End of 21/22 Season Awards! Huge well done to Coach Dan H on all his hard work again this season on match days/training days and behind the scenes as we plan for 22/23! Thank you to everyone supporting this awesome group!
We are all looking forward to seeing this squad develop their plan to take the exciting step with two teams at u10's for next season!

Today was the turn of St Agnes AFC Dynamos Girls Under 10's & 8's (21/22 Season) to head off to the CCFA Festival at Newquay.
The faces say it all! What a fabulous afternoon our 2 x u10's and u8's had! Wonderful football, goals, battling, running, smiling, team work and everyone had a super time! The girls made their coaches so proud with their brilliant attitudes! Thank you CCFA for a great event and thank you to our coaches who covered different teams today to make sure the girls could play and enjoy this wonderful experience together making special footballing memories!

Sharing this GOFUNDME link for lovely, beautiful 19 year old Rosey who played as part of our St Agnes AFC Dis-ability female only football team. Rosey has suffered irrovecable spinal injury from a horse fall in April 22 and is on a quest for some form of recovery due to becoming a quadriplegic with paralysis in all 4 limbs.
Rosey has faced so many battles pre this injury and since it has remained in hospital, overcome sepsis, a tracheostomy and paralysis from her neck down - any support will be greatly valued by Rosey and her family - even if you can just share link!

What an exciting morning we had at St Agnes AFC Dis-ability on Saturday! We were finally able to receive our Parasports UK Award as Club of the Year! It was a brilliant morning and it was fabulous to meet representatives from Parasports and lovely Ellie from the Award sponsors Toyota!
There was a film crew from London and local dignatories came to support too! So exciting for everyone! We hope to be able to share the filming soon!
Thank you to everyone who came along to support and celebrate with us! Most of all we hope this Award and promotion around it will help raise the profile of Dis-ability Sport in general and encourage more participants and providers within Cornwall and far and wide!!

St Agnes AFC u8's put in a great team performance yesterday afternoon in super hot conditions at the Truro Tournament. The entire squad were brilliant and the games gave their supporters some stand out moments like Riley’s free kick from over the halfway line to Morgan’s last gasp equaliser to earn a draw against Truro City!
They had a fabulous time and went through the tournament undefeated with wins against Falmouth and Illogan and draws with Truro City and Wheal Rose.
The lads fully deserved their medals and their coaches could not be prouder - well done all! ⚽️

St Agnes AFC Squads for Girls 12-14years

Exciting new girls sessions coming soon as we will be launching St Agnes AFC Squads!
On the back of the success of Wildcats (an initiative for girls 5-11 years) the FA have created Squads for girls 12-14 who are presently not playing girls football.
With 33 Squads Centres commencing in June across the country St Agnes AFC with Bodmin are the only 2 centres in Cornwall!
Part of our commitment to Squads was for a club coach to attend a session around leading the new initiative and understand how this will be delivered. St Agnes AFC Coach Marnie Colvill head off to Manchester to spend a day with other coaches from clubs across the country! What a great experience for Marnie who loved attending the venue, meeting other coaches and learning from some excellent course facilitators! She is very excited to help set up and deliver St Agnes AFC Squads for Girls 12-14 years with details of all sessions to follow here soon!
Exciting new girls sessions coming soon as we will be launching St Agnes AFC Squads!
On the back of the success of Wildcats (an initiative for girls 5-11 years) the FA have created Squads for girls 12-14 who are presently not playing girls football.
With 33 Squads Centres commencing in June across the country St Agnes AFC with Bodmin are the only 2 centres in Cornwall!
Part of our commitment to Squads was for a club coach to attend a session around leading the new initiative and understand how this will be delivered. St Agnes AFC Coach Marnie Colvill head off to Manchester to spend a day with other coaches from clubs across the country! What a great experience for Marnie who loved attending the venue, meeting other coaches and learning from some excellent course facilitators! She is very excited to help set up and deliver St Agnes AFC Squads for Girls 12-14 years with details of all sessions to follow here soon!

St Agnes AFC u16's headed to St Day FC yesterday for their KYFL Premiership League Cup Final facing Tregorrick who we have never beaten and are higher placed in the League.
Having been promoted this season to the Premiership the boys did an amazing job to reach the League Cup Final!
The Final result didn't go our way 4-1 to Tregorrick but the boys have made their club very proud this season! We made a proper occasion of it with club breakfast, bus trip and we would also would like to thank the KYFL and St Day FC for great hosting!

Our CWFL Supplementary Cup Final dreams came to an end yesterday after an end to end fixture finished 1-1 after extra time! Penalties saw Dropship Ladies go through and we wish them luck in the Final. Loads of positives from the St Agnes end as we look to conclude our 19th Season hosting Wadebridge in our last league match of 2021/22 on the 15th May 2.30pm ko at Enys Parc.
We are very proud to be the longest standing Ladies team in Cornwall and raising a squad week after week! Thank you to all the fabulous ladies who have been part of St Agnes AFC Ladies this season and over the previous years!
It was wonderful yesterday to have a selection of former players/baby bumps and little people watching - not to mention future players too! Plans are afoot for our 20th Season in 2022/23 and we welcome new faces of any level of experience or new to the game to join us for Wednesday evening training and pre-season message via this page for more details.

St Agnes AFC 3rds gave a great performance in the Final of the Trelawny League RUSSELL HALL CUP on Saturday facing Dropship at Perranporth FC. It was 0-0 at the end of normal time, 1-1 at the end of extra time with Dropship winning on penalties.

St Agnes AFC Dynamos Girls under 12's Silvers were delighted to get their home fixture played at the weekend hosting Newquay on one of the few patches of un-waterlogged grass in the parish!

Installation of our Automated External Defibrillator

Today Enys Parc, home of St Agnes AFC and St Agnes Sports Club, became a safer place with the installation of our Automated External Defibrillator.
Received from #PLDefibrillatorFund, an initiative of #ThePremierLeague who have funded the provision of 2000 x AED's at Grassroots Football Facilities, St Agnes AFC is very pleased and grateful to be one of those eligible and successful in applying for one!
Way back in 2014 we had secured an internal Defibrillator from fundraising and donations but this more accessible Automated External Defibrillator (AED) will ensure our facility and general community will have better availability to it should it be needed.
The Premier League Fund was set up with the aim of helping to save the life of someone having a cardiac arrest and everyone at St Agnes AFC, all members of St Agnes Sports Club and users of Enys Parc and our wider community are very grateful to have received one!
Thank you to Alan Odgers of Duchy Defibrillators who volunteered to come along and help set up and register the new AED on The Circuit - The National Defibrillator Network and South West Ambulance Service. Thank you Alan for making it all so much quicker and more streamlined!

Members of St Agnes AFC Walking Football Squad had a great time at the Winter Walking Festival held by CCFA at Newquay last weekend. Last night was the final training session of 2021 and finished with a Christmas drink, sausage rolls and mince pies!

Everyone at St Agnes AFC is really proud and pleased to support the great work of Mount Hawke VCA at the Millenium Green by sourcing and sponsoring new nets for their recently installed new goals.
They look super smart and its great to see them in action already!

A super positive morning today for members of St Agnes AFC Dis-ability Squad at the CDFL Festival! Both our Championship and League teams played some lovely football, scored goals, and had a great morning! A lovely respectful 2 minutes silence was observed by all the players and coaches at 11am - well done everyone!
It's always great for the players to meet up with other teams and players and play matches! Thank you to our referees and organisers and to the tea ladies for welcome hot drinks and some of the best tiffin and flapjack for miles!!!!

St Agnes AFC Dynamos Girls u10's were out on mass today at training ahead of their home hosted cluster fixture event tomorrow with St Day and Bodmin Girls! Our Wildcats were also great fun and, with both groups led and run by volunteer coaches who are all playing members of St Agnes AFC Ladies, we are very proud of everyone!
Tomorrow we see our first ever u8's girls fixture too - how VERY exciting! Thank you to all our coaches at all our club age group boys and girls for their commitment and support in developing and creating the future of the grassroots game! Fabulous work everyone!

St Agnes AFC u8's were in action today hosting Troon at Chiverton Park in their KYFL fixture! A grippingly exciting fixture of end to end action, goals, hand balls, penalties, missed opportunities, creative play and so much more!!

It's always a tricky ask to play against your own squad mates with 2 teams in the same league! This lot certainly enjoyed the occasion and made their very coaches proud with their passing game and good spirits!

St Agnes AFC Ladies travelled away to Bodmin Ladies for their 2nd League fixture of the 2021/22 Campaign on Sunday.
An end to end match saw Bodmin open the scoring with St Agnes replying and securing all 3 points from a Mollie Dring hat trick the final score 1-3.
Thank you to Bodmin FC for welcoming St Agnes AFC Ladies to their great facility and hospitality after the game.
With Bodmin Ladies playing their first league match fixture since their relaunch and featuring 4 of the last season's St Agnes Squad as players return to home club etc and previous 1st team coach as part of their set up it was always going to be a challenging trip for the rebuilding St Agnes team.
We wish Bodmin Ladies good luck for the coming season its great to have them back!
Maid of the Match for St Agnes was Ella with an outstanding debut in St Agnes colours - welcome on board Ella!

20 years ago today none of our St Agnes AFC youth/girls players and indeed not many of their coaches were even here to witness the horror of 9/11.
We are super proud today that members of our St Agnes AFC Dynamos Girls u10's & 12's wanted to take a minute to reflect and remember all those who lost their lives and the ongoing impact of the awful events in America.
9/11 20 years on - we will remember them - never forget!

Well done to St Agnes AFC Dynamos Girls attending the Manadon Community Girls Cup in Plymouth today.
Playing out of usual age groups mixed at u10's and u12's they played some wonderful football making coaches, parents and everyone very proud!
Lots of smiles across both squads with u10's playing 5 fixture and unlucky in their 1/4 final finishing runner up in their group. The u12's also finished 2nd in their group and were beaten by the eventual winners in their semi-final. What a great opportunity for the girls facing some different teams and a new level of physicality and competition in Plymouth!

WOW - Congratulations to everyone involved at St Agnes AFC Dis-ability Squad (adult & youth) who have been recognised nationally for their great work and contribution to inclusive sport by Parasports (supported by Toyota) as their Club of the Month for July! This is a super exciting accolade and reflects the positive impact our squad has on its members!

St Agnes AFC u11's Saints Tournament

St Agnes AFC u11's had a great time at the Saints SW Tournament last weekend playing some awesome football against some very strong teams from Devon in their group stage.
They reached the 1/4 Finals and their coaches, parents and club were very proud of their performance!
Their new season shirts looked super smart (a bit of growing room!) and the squad are looking forward to their 2021/22 Campaign in the KYFL!
A big shout out and thank you to their coaches for working so hard to give them wonderful football experiences and to all the parents, sponsors, volunteers and everyone supporting grassroots football at St Agnes AFC!

Well done and thank you to all the coaches, parents, volunteers and sponsors who are supporting our St Agnes AFC Youth under 10's Bolsters and Aggie teams. Both teams had a wonderful time at the Saints SW Festival at the weekend with our Bolsters putting in a superb performance making everyone very proud and a big well done to the Aggie team winning the Plate Competition! Well done both teams we are all very proud of you!

New shirts, new coach, touring team, first match......oh my word how exciting for St Agnes AFC u7's today hosting a team on holiday from Coventry! Well done boys on a very enjoyable game played in the best spirit and thank you to our visitors too for great sportsmanship!
Welcome on board coach Gareth and thank you for your really positive input to the team! We may not quite have scored as many goals today (🙈) but Reggie's comment, "I had the best day ever" absolutely won the day! Well done 7's we are all excited to see you progress - and let's face it how many other Cornish teams entertained a team all the way from Coventry!!!!

Coaches Charlotte and Jasmine were thrilled with their involvement in the session - what a wonderful group of girls!
Wildcat of the Week was a really tough decision again they are all so totally on it so shared again this week! A big well done to everyone but extra special well done to Iris and Ella our joint Wildcats of the Week. Huge thank you to our amazing coaches Charlotte & Jasmine for awesome sessions and being such great role models to the girls!

St Agnes AFC u8's had a great day today at the Saints Tournament making their coach Morgan super proud!
After a nervous start in their first ever Tournament they won their Plate Competition semi-final to reach the Final. It was runner-up medals this time but what a great effort and performance! Coach Morgan commented she had never felt so proud (or nervous in the semi-final)! Well done everyone! Thank you to all the parents, sponsors and volunteers supporting this wonderful developing team of players and an extra special thank you to Coach Morgan for her brilliant effort and commitment!
